The UT Southwestern O'Donnell Brain Institute is dedicated to improving patients' and their families' lives through transformative research and patient-centered care. The award winning faculty and leadership are driven to uncover the secrets of how the nervous system functions and how it generates integrative behavior and cognition, as well as fill the need for new, targeted therapies.

Support for UT Austin neurological research in the areas of Traumatic Brain Injury and Alzheimer's disease and related disorders will accelerate the processes by which Dell Medical School and the multidisciplinary researchers at colleges at UT are partnering to find curative treatment for neurodegenerative diseases.

Support for the DKR Fund accelerates the progress in brain injury prevention, novel brain preservation strategies, and restoring brain function lost through injury and disease.

The Edith T. Royal Caregiver Endowment for Family Support and Education promotes life skills training, support groups, and education to the public, caregivers and those affected by Alzheimer's disease.
